I work for Durabrik, a project developer, and through a colleague I came into contact with Hydraloop. When I was developing a new housing project, I decided to live there myself. For heating and electricity, I opted for PV panels and an air-water heat pump. In Flanders it is mandatory for new homes to recover rainwater, but we wanted to go even further and also added water recycling. We connected all drains - where possible - to rainwater or recycled Hydraloop water. On average we use only 13 liters of tap water per person per day for the dishwasher, hand basins and for drinking water.

My experiences are positive. Hydraloop staff always think along and are customer oriented. In my case, this was even more important as we connected the Hydraloop to rainwater, which made the overall installation a bit more complex.

Water is still fairly cheap today. But what you save financially per year is great anyway. I am very satisfied.

We believe sustainability is important. That's why we wanted to make our new house sustainable and decided the Hydraloop would be a valuable addition. Hydraloop has a beautiful concept that enables us to significantly reduce our water consumption. At the moment, water is still very cheap and self-evident in the Netherlands, but recent years have already shown that this is changing. We could save even more water by using the App more, and by taking into account when we shower or run the washing machine.

So far, the unit has been satisfactory; it does what it is meant to do. You don't notice that the device is there. It's a nice feeling that we can reuse water without having to do anything for it. The idea that the water you use for showering can be reused for the toilet, washing machine and garden feels very logical.

Since I was going to thoroughly renovate my Bed & Breakfast, it was easy to install a dual water system. The space required for the compact Hydraloop unit is very small and the connections very simple.
